​Why WIMBERLEAN?
What makes this class different?

​Did you know? In 2003, research published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that regular dancing reduced the risk of dementia and Alzheimers by 76%, twice as much as reading. Doing crossword puzzles at least four days a week reduced the risk by 47%, while cycling and swimming offered no benefit at all. But, not all forms of dancing offer the same cognitive benefits. Moving to rhythm, learning counts and coordinated steps, makes all the difference.

That is why we train in unison, and to the rhythm.


​Jason Wimberly has been the creative force behind dozens of group fitness classes for numerous fitness brands. He has created unique and innovative class formats that are known for delivering real results.

Diving deep in his repertoire of coaching skills, his signature class WIMBERLEAN is a gleaming representation of everything Wimberly has learned as a lifelong Movement Enthusiast and Physical Culturist.

The newest class format is more dance focused than ever, drawing upon Luigi jazz dance technique as our strength training foundation, but is not a dance class.

The WIMBERLEAN method draws inspiration from many influences and pulls from other movement methods, while referencing current scientific understandings of the human body to deliver a full mind and body workout experience. 

While class moves to the rhythm and guests can expect to move in unison, no previous dance experience is necessary.

Enjoy a slower paced movement practice that is perfect for all ages and all levels. Breakdown and learn simple steps before putting them together in more complex circuits that will have you soaking wet before you know it.

Each class has a different focus while still following a similar format. Expect a thorough warm-up, barre work, a dedicated mat section of class, center floor work, jumps, and more. Exercises focus on bettering your balance, increasing your mobility, and strengthening your whole body with an emphasis on joint and foot health with a "from the ground up," approach to movement. 

WIMBERLEAN  is the ultimate investment in yourself and your new favorite workout.

What to expect?

Think dance class, without any real dancing.
Think barre class, without those weird tucks.
Think pilates class, without any giant machines.
Think weight training, without ever lifting a weight. 

Expect to stretch, jump, laugh, kick, sweat, and feel the burn. Learn complex circuits of movement all designed with one thing in mind, to make you stronger. This class is very challenging in many ways, and will serve as a reminder that you are capable of doing hard things. All delivered in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

What is expected?

Have fun and be open to new things. This is not an audition and one is judging you. We all come to class to learn, to fail, and to be in a safe space to try things we have maybe never tried before. Being able to move your body is a privilege, start acting accordingly.
